Get a complete view of every employee’s role, team, and skill rating organized in one dashboard.

---

## When to use this

- To audit employee rating coverage (self, supervisor, peer, expert).
- To filter and locate employees by performance or skill fit.
- To track rating progress or identify missing evaluations.
- To manage skill evaluations and reminders at scale.

---

## Prerequisites

- Access to **People → Employees** in SkillPanel.
- Employees assigned to at least one role with skillsets.
- Rating permissions (self, supervisor, or expert).

---

## Quick start

1. Go to **People → Employees**.
2. Use **Choose Columns** to decide which fields to display.
3. Click **Show Filters** for precise searches (e.g., by supervisor rating).
4. Use the **Actions** menu (⋮) next to any employee to edit, rate, or request evaluations.
5. Export data if needed for offline review.

---

## Detailed steps

### 1. Selecting columns to display

Open the column menu next to any header and select **Choose Columns**.
You can pin, hide, or reorder columns for a tailored view.

Columns include:

- **Name**, **Teams**, **Supervisor**, **Job Position**
- **Position Fit**, **Self Rating**, **Supervisor Rating**, **Peer Rating**, **Expert Rating**

Each rating column shows rated-skill percentages, counts, and last activity date.
**Why this matters:** Clear visibility helps verify coverage before reviews or audits.

### 2. Filtering employee data

Click **Show Filters** to open search options.
You can filter by:

- Team, Job Position, or Supervisor
- Rating type and completion range (e.g., 90–100%)
- Skillset scope (core, optional, or all)

*Example:* To find employees with ≥90% supervisor-rated skills, set the slider to “90%–100%.”

**Why this matters:** Filters isolate where evaluation progress lags or exceeds expectations.

### 3. Adjusting skill rating scope

You can choose what skills appear in rating columns:

- **Assigned skillsets = Job position + Additional (All)**
- **Assigned skillsets = Job position + Additional (Core)**
- **Assigned skillsets = Job position + Additional (Optional)**
- **Job position skills (All/Core/Optional)**

**Why this matters:** Narrowing the scope avoids noise when comparing core competencies.

### 4. Using the “Show Actions” menu

Click the three-dot icon at the end of a row to access:

- **Edit**: Update employee data (supervisor, job position, or skillsets).
- **Rate Skills**: Evaluate assigned skills directly.
- **Request Skills Evaluation**: Send evaluation requests to a peer, expert, or supervisor.
- **Send Reminder**: Notify managers to complete pending ratings.
- **Delete**: Remove the employee profile. (**CAUTION: **removal is permanent)

**Why this matters:** Streamlines admin work—ratings and updates can be triggered in context.

**Use SkillPanel to go faster / safer / clearer**

| Step | Feature | Benefit | How? |

| Compare skills | Skill rating filters and scopes | Highlights gaps across evaluators or skill types | Filters narrow by skillset type (core, optional) and completion level (e.g., 90–100%) |
| Review performance | Actions menu with skill evaluations | Keeps supervisor feedback current | “Rate Skills” and “Request Evaluation” options trigger new or pending assessments directly from the employee list |

---
