To get an accurate picture of an employee’s skills, you may want to combine **[Expert](https://devskiller-help.refined.site/space/TBG/3512926209/How+to+assign+an+expert+to+assess+an+employee's+skills)**** **and **Peer** assessments with **Self** and **Supervisor assessments**.

If you would like to assign a peer to assess your team’s skills, you are able to do it from an **Employee’s Profile** level clicking “Skills” tab, then scrolling down to “Request employee skills evaluation”.

After clicking the “Request employee skills evaluation” button, you’ll be able to select a specific employee and choose whether the evaluation will be **Expert**, **Supervisor**, or **Peer**.

Here we will choose **Peer**.

At the bottom of this window, you’ll need to choose either current **Job Position** or **Assigned Skillsets** under “Rating Scope.” 

If you choose **Job Position**, it will request the Peer to review all skillsets assigned to the employee based on their Job Position. 

If you choose **Assigned Skillsets**, it will request the Peer to review all Job Position skillsets as well as [Additional Assigned](https://devskiller-help.refined.site/space/TBG/3409936386/How+can+I+assign+additional+skillsets+to+an+employee%3F) skillsets. If you would like to remove some of the additionally assigned skillsets, you will be able to clicking “x” on a chosen skillset.

Once you’ve chosen the “Rating Type” and “Rating Scope,” clicking on “Create request” will send an email to the Peer assigned here with a link to assess the employee’s skills.

Once the Peer rates the employee’s skills, the rating will appear on the employee’s **Skills map** as in the screenshot below:
