The Promotion Configuration plugin allows managers to customize promotion conditions to suit their needs. They can manage the point threshold from which an employee can start the promotion process, as well as the conditions for finalizing the process.

This solution facilitates the personalization and management of the promotion process for both team managers and employees.

### **Configuring percentage thresholds**

To begin configuring the promotion process, go to the **Careers** category, then click on the Promotion Configuration tab.

The promotion configuration includes two conditions that must be met to start and complete the promotion process. The first condition, **Enable start of promotion process at**, specifies the percentage of core skills an employee must achieve in their current position to initiate the promotion process.

The second condition, **Enable finalize promotion process at** defines the required career points percentage for successfully completing the promotion process.

Both conditions can be edited according to the needs of your organization.

### **Promotion categories**

In the "Promotion categories" field, you can add, edit, and remove categories of skills or actions required for promotion. For each of them, you set the required percentage threshold for promotion.

Note: **Promotion path skills**, which are the skills of the position the employee is applying for, are a required category and cannot be removed.

To add a category, click the "Task list" button to the right of the "Create new category" option.

After clicking the button, the "Create promotion category" window will appear. In this window, you can create a new category, assign it a maximum number of points, and define the percentage required for promotion. Once both fields are filled, click the "Create" button to save the changes.

### **Task list configuration within a category**

To add a new task to a specific category, in the "Task list" section, click the "+" button, then fill in the "Task description" field and select the appropriate weight (on a scale from 1 to 5) from the "Weight" dropdown menu. After filling in all the fields, click the "Confirm" button, then save the changes by clicking the "Create" button in the lower right corner of the window.

It is important to note that the settings in the **Promotion Configuration apply to the entire company**, meaning that any changes made to the promotion process settings or promotion categories will be visible to all users.

However, the configuration of this plugin can be restricted to be accessible only to a specific role, such as exclusively for administrators, and not for every manager in the company.
