Measure skill progress, team readiness, and role fit across your organization. The Analytics feature turns assessments into actionable reports.

---

## Why

Analytics shows where your organization is improving—and where it’s falling behind. You can compare skills, roles, or teams over time to plan training and hiring with data instead of guesswork.

---

## When to Use This

- After completing a SkillCheck or performance cycle.
- When preparing skill summaries for leadership or audits.
- To evaluate training impact over a specific period.
- When comparing team performance or role readiness.

---

## Prerequisites

- Access to **Analytics → Report Builder**.
- Skill data from assessments or job profiles.

---

## Quick Start

1. Go to **Analytics → Report Builder**.
2. Choose what to analyze:
  - **Skill Ratings** – average performance by skill.
  - **Actual Job Position Fit** – match between current skills and role requirements.
  - **Employee Fit to Chosen Job Position** – potential fit for a target role.
3. Select the analysis scope (skills, job positions, or employees).
4. Pick your object type (All Employees, Team, Sub-team, Job Position, or Individual).
5. Choose the time frame (Today, Previous Month, 3/6 Months, or Custom Range).
6. Click **Generate Report** → Review the charts and summary.

---

## Detailed Steps

### 1. Define the Object of Analysis

Choose what and who you’re measuring:

- **All Employees** – for global averages.
- **Team** or **Team with Sub-teams** – for department-level trends.
- **Job Position** – for role-specific comparisons.
- **Individual Employee** – for detailed personal reports.
**Why this matters:** Tailoring the scope avoids noisy data and keeps insights relevant.

You can add multiple objects (e.g., compare *Developers* vs *QA Teams*).

### 2. Set the Time Frame

Use the top filters to select **Today**, **Previous Month**, or any custom date range.
**Why this matters:** Time filters reveal performance growth or regression patterns.

### 3. Analyze the Results

The **Skill Ratings** report displays:

- **Vertical axis:** Skills or job positions being analyzed.
- **Horizontal axis:** Average scores over time.
Use the **Types of Ratings** dropdown (e.g., *Most Reliable*) to refine your data source.
**Why this matters:** Switching rating types lets you isolate SkillCheck data from self or peer assessments for cleaner insights.

### 4. Review the Summary

At the bottom, the **Summary** section highlights:

- **Biggest Increase** – fastest-growing skills.
- **Biggest Decrease** – where capability is slipping.
- **Best Skills** – highest-performing competencies.
- **Worst Skills** – weakest areas or unmet requirements.
**Why this matters:** Gives a quick directional view for planning interventions or upskilling.
